FIFGROUP Donates IDR 210 Million In Denpasar To Build A Place Of Worship

In line with the 2025 Leadership Meeting (Rapim) in Denpasar, Bali, PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP), a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk and part of Astra Financial, provided religious social assistance at the FIFGROUP office in Denpasar on Monday, November 11, 2024. This aid was given as a gesture of gratitude for the achievements of 2024, made possible by the support and cooperation of the community.
A total of Rp210 million was donated to representatives of six places of worship from five different religions. This included assistance for the Islamic mosques Baitul Muhtarifin and Al Muhajirin, the Protestant church Gereja Pantekosta Tabernakel Maranatha, the Catholic church Paroki Santo Petrus Denpasar, the Hindu temple Pura Kelaci, and the Buddhist Vihara Dharmayana, with each receiving Rp35 million, in celebration of FIFGROUP's 35th anniversary.
This event reflects FIFGROUP's commitment to enhancing community welfare through its FIFGROUP Peduli program. This commitment aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 11, which aims to create sustainable cities and communities. Through this initiative, FIFGROUP seeks to foster a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment, supporting its mission to improve the lives of people in Indonesia.
The assistance was handed over by FIFGROUP's board members, including Setia Budi Tarigan, Esther Sri Harjati, and Valentina Chai, along with Charles DW Simaremare, Head of Health, Safety and Social Responsibility (EHSSR) & Sustainability Management Department, and I Made Aria Kusuma, Head of Bali Area Department.
Esther Sri Harjati stated, “During the annual Leadership Meeting of FIFGROUP, we provide social assistance to the community.”
In line with this year's theme of the meeting, "One FIFGROUP to Be the One," we are encouraged to care for the well-being of others sustainably. This time, assistance was given to representatives from six places of worship across five religions.
Setia Budi expressed, "We hope that the support we provide through FIFGROUP Peduli will be beneficial and help speed up the construction of these places of worship, allowing the community to worship comfortably and sincerely."
After the event, Mr. Ahmad Tri Untung, a manager and imam at Baitul Muhtarifin Mosque, stated, "Thank God, this aid will be very useful for all worshippers. We will use it responsibly for the renovation and repair of the mosque, especially to fix the leaks that often occur. May this assistance bring goodness to us all," he said gratefully.
Similarly, Pastor Cristofel Federick Dju, head of the Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle Church, said, "Thank you, FIFGROUP. This support is very important for us to speed up the construction process. The church roof has leaks, the ceiling is damaged, and the walls are peeling due to water seepage. We pray that FIFGROUP continues to be a company that benefits the community," he remarked.
In agreement with Pastor Cristofel, Mr. I Made Mustika, head of Pura Kelaci, added, "This assistance from FIFGROUP is very helpful and beneficial for us. This building has been standing since the 1800s, and many parts are starting to decay, requiring renovation. On behalf of all the worshippers, I thank FIFGROUP for their attention to us, and may FIFGROUP continue to spread goodness in the surrounding community."
