President Prabowo Subianto Launched The National Solidarity Movement In Front Of 16,000 People

Prabowo Subianto, the President, inaugurated the National Solidarity Movement (GSN) at the Indonesia Arena in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The event was attended by 16,000 Indonesians representing various groups from Sabang to Merauke.
During the event, GSN Chairman Rosan Perkasa Roeslani expressed gratitude to President Prabowo for trusting GSN to unite and enhance the strength of all Indonesians. This initiative aims to help Indonesia progress under President Prabowo's leadership.
Rosan noted that Indonesia is currently filled with enthusiasm and positive energy due to the change in national leadership, which brings hope for future achievements. He also mentioned that Indonesia's current situation is better compared to other countries.
"However, upon closer examination, we still face local conflicts that need to be resolved. As President Prabowo has repeatedly stated, we are still fighting against poverty, corruption, injustice, inequality, and, most importantly, the indifference towards fellow Indonesians."
He explained that this is the reason behind the establishment of GSN. "From the strong unity and collaboration between President Prabowo and former President Jokowi, we learn not only the values of national solidarity but also its significant positive impact," he said.
"The vision of GSN is to be an organization that unites all Indonesians. We aim to gather and turn great ideas into concrete solutions for the community and the nation's progress, both for those in Indonesia and the diaspora worldwide," Rosan added, who is also the Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry in the Red and White Cabinet.
Rosan highlighted the idea of Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), which can quickly become a real policy since the 2024 Presidential Election, marking a significant move in the Prabowo-Gibran administration. This idea stems from discussions among experts in the National Campaign Team (TKN).
He also mentioned the plan to free millions of farmers and fishermen from long-standing debts. "We can see how the process can be very swift. From the idea to expert discussions, it eventually becomes a concrete government policy supported by necessary resources, institutions, and budgets," Rosan stated.
A National Nutrition Agency has already been established within a year of proposing the Free Nutritious Meals idea. This inspired President Prabowo Subianto to formalize the identification and realization of this idea within a group called GSN.
"The mission of GSN is to create similar resolutions for the government to implement, with support from the government or through GSN's own resources. This way, the benefits can be felt directly and quickly by the community," explained Rosan Perkasa Roeslani. In summary, Rosan emphasized that GSN has three unique strengths that will enable it to grow rapidly and positively impact society and the nation.
First, GSN is designed to have significant capability and strength to realize the great ideas from the nation's best talents. This is not only because it is directly supported by the 8th President of Indonesia but also because GSN includes all elements of national strength. "Through GSN, power becomes a positive force for the community and the nation's progress," Rosan clarified.
Second, the main strength of GSN lies in the power of ideas. Therefore, it requires an environment that promotes freedom of thought and expression.
