The Government Could Leverage AI In Creating Effective And Adaptable Policies

Farah Fitria Rahmayanti, who leads Digital Business at Peruri, highlighted how crucial Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are for improving government functions.
She pointed out that these technologies play a key role in making decisions and crafting policies that better reflect community needs.
"In our fast-evolving digital world, embracing digitalization is essential for strengthening modern governance. It goes beyond just adopting new tech; it's a strategic move towards a government that is more transparent, inclusive, and efficient," she said at the BE TALK event called “Big Data and AI for Digital Government Improvement” on Friday, November 1, 2024.
Additionally, she mentioned that Peruri, known as GovTech Indonesia and branded as INA DIGITAL, is leading the charge in integrating digital government services, focusing on innovative technologies to create user-friendly services that prioritize the needs and experiences of users in their design and development.
Meanwhile, Imam Resti M, the Head of Governance at BSrE, emphasized three key elements for successful digital transformation: a growth mindset, innovation, and collaboration.
He underlined that fostering an adaptive mindset is crucial for sustainable growth and for building a culture open to progress. "The success of digital transformation relies on the collaboration and involvement of all stakeholders," he noted.
Median Yuli Hartanto, who leads the Government Digital Solution and Service Digital team at PERURI, is feeling positive about this initiative and its potential to enhance public services in Indonesia.
He wrapped up by saying, "We hope this initiative will motivate the use of technology to tackle upcoming challenges and lay the groundwork for creating innovative solutions."
