PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BNC) is making waves as the most comprehensive digital bank in Indonesia. They recently wrapped up a series of financial inclusion and literacy roadshows in Kalimantan, specifically in Balikpapan and Banjarmasin. Reaching out to thousands, BNC showcased various financial service options while participating in the annual FinExpo 2024 event at Pentacity Mall in Balikpapan from October 3-6, 2024, organized by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to celebrate Financial Inclusion Month.
But that’s not all! BNC also hosted the Neo Keliling event, inviting around a hundred small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in each city, with sessions in Balikpapan on October 2 and Banjarmasin on October 9, 2024. This initiative aimed to introduce BNC’s services and provide valuable education on effective financial management.
As a leader in digital banking in Indonesia, BNC is dedicated to promoting digital financial services to the Indonesian public. They frequently organize activities to enhance financial understanding across various community segments, supporting the government’s efforts to boost financial literacy.
This commitment has not gone unnoticed; the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) recognized BNC at the LPS Awards 2023, awarding them for being the Most Active Bank in Financial Literacy Activities at the end of 2023.

Neo Keliling is an initiative by the bank to consistently provide financial literacy across various regions in Indonesia. Launched in 2022, Neo Keliling has already visited several cities in Java, Bali, and Sumatra over the past few years. This time, Bank Neo Commerce is reaching out to communities through a roadshow in Kalimantan, specifically in Balikpapan and Banjarmasin.
With the Neo Keliling campaign, BNC aims to introduce its financial services and neobank banking app. Additionally, it seeks to educate and enhance understanding of effective financial management by leveraging the bank's digital services, inviting various communities, small business owners, loyal customers, and potential clients in the local area.
During the Neo Keliling events in Balikpapan and Banjarmasin, BNC partnered with inspiring speakers who shared their experiences in running businesses and managing finances effectively with local small business owners. Agi Putra Aspian, the founder of Alden Creative Studio and a product photography entrepreneur from Samarinda, along with Agus Sasirangan, a well-known entrepreneur from Banjarmasin, social activist, author, and runner-up of MasterChef Indonesia Season 1, shared their insights and experiences with hundreds of small business owners in both cities.
