Chatime Has Announced JKT48 As The Brand Ambassador For Their "Celebrate The Orchestra Of Flavors" Campaign

Chatime, the brewed tea brand under F&B ID, has teamed up with JKT48 as their Agent of Joy, serving as the brand ambassador for Chatime Indonesia. This announcement kicks off the "Rayakan Orkestra Rasa" campaign, a major collaboration between Chatime and JKT48. In the first phase of this campaign, called Joy Academy, Chatime is also launching two special menu items in collaboration with JKT48: Rapsodi and Fortune Cookie. Fans can grab these collaborative drinks starting October 10, 2024, at over 420 Chatime outlets across Indonesia or through the F&B ID App and delivery services.

JKT48 is an Indonesian idol group that was formed in 2011. They are the first sister group of AKB48 outside Japan and embrace the "idol you can meet" concept. Currently, JKT48 has 26 members led by Shania Gracia, along with 26 trainees.

Lany Cucu, the General Marketing Manager of F&B ID, shared, “Creating happiness can come from many things. Just like JKT48 has been bringing joy through their songs since 2011, Chatime Indonesia has also been serving happiness in a cup to Indonesian families since that same year.

This shared vision is what inspired us to embark on this big collaboration. That’s why we chose two of JKT48’s popular songs to create the first two menu items for the Rayakan Orkestra Rasa campaign.”

The Rayakan Orkestra Rasa campaign is a significant collaboration between Chatime Indonesia and JKT48, celebrating the diversity of characters, emotions, and tastes that come together in a harmonious flavor experience.

Just like an orchestra creates beautiful melodies from various instruments, Chatime offers a range of flavors, and each JKT48 member brings their unique talent and character, coming together to create a memorable and unique flavor harmony. When all these elements unite, they create a flavor symphony that brings joy to fans.

Bringing together eight members of JKT48 as Agents of Joy—Angelina Christy, Fiony Alveria, Marsha Lenathea, Shania Gracia, Gita Sekar Andarini, Cornelia “Oniel” Vanisa, Freya Jayawardana, and Mutiara “Muthe” Azzahra—each with their own unique personality.

Shania Gracia, the captain of JKT48, shared her excitement: “Representing JKT48, we’re super thrilled to team up with Chatime. I’ve been a fan since they opened in Jakarta, and the other members have their own favorite Chatime drinks that we often enjoy after shows or during practice. We hope that being named Agents of Joy will bring even more happiness to both JKT48 fans and Chatime lovers.”

The celebration, called Orkestra Rasa, will kick off in phases, starting with Joy Academy on October 10, 2024. Joy Academy aims to inspire young generations to pursue their dreams, interests, and creativity during joyful moments in the academic world, marking the beginning of a colorful and happy journey with Chatime and JKT48.

To add to the fun during the Joy Academy phase, Chatime is introducing two new drinks inspired by two of JKT48's hit singles, Rapsodi and Fortune Cookie In Love, released in 2020 and 2013, respectively.

Rapsodi is a delightful drink that combines sweet lychee with refreshing apple and blue citrus, topped off with coconut jelly for a cheerful taste experience.

On the other hand, the Fortune Cookie drink invites you to enjoy a mix of strawberry, blue citrus, and fresh milk, topped with cream and caramel crumble, perfect for brightening up your daily moments of joy.

“For me, Chatime has always been my go-to drink for celebrating happy moments. From back in the day, Hazelnut Choco has been my personal favorite.”
