PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (Tugu Insurance) has snagged a prestigious award for being ‘The Most Efficient Insurance’ in the general insurance category for companies with assets over Rp3 trillion at the annual Bisnis Indonesia Financial Award (BIFA) 2024.

The insurance category at BIFA 2024 is split into two: Best Performance Insurance, which recognizes the top-performing insurance companies, and Most Efficient Insurance, highlighting the most efficient ones. Tugu Insurance made its mark in the Most Efficient Insurance category after passing through a rigorous selection process. This included an initial screening to select nominees based on specific criteria, followed by a quantitative assessment, and finally, a qualitative evaluation for those who made it through the earlier stages.

Sudarlin, the Technical Director of Tugu Insurance, expressed gratitude for the award, stating that this achievement reflects the hard work of everyone at Tugu Insurance in delivering outstanding performance.

“We’re proud that Tugu Insurance continues to uphold its achievements year after year, earning the trust to receive this recognition. A big thank you to Bisnis Indonesia for acknowledging our efforts, which include excellent performance, innovative breakthroughs, and significant contributions to the national economy,” Sudarlin shared.

It’s worth noting that Tugu Insurance has shown positive performance throughout this year. In the first half of 2024, the company reported a consolidated net profit (un-audited) of Rp439 billion. According to the Consolidated Financial Report released in June 2024, the gross premium income reached Rp5.2 trillion, marking a 39.0 percent increase year-on-year.

With this positive growth, Tugu Insurance is optimistic that its performance in 2024 will surpass that of the previous year.
