PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) has reported impressive marketing sales in the property sector, hitting Rp 980 billion from January to July 2024. This marks a significant increase of about 40% compared to the same period last year, which was Rp 682 billion. This achievement showcases APLN's ability to effectively cater to various consumer segments, from low to high-end markets.
Justini Omas, the Corporate Secretary of APLN, mentioned that the surge in property sales this year is largely due to the team's keen insight into market demands. To help consumers with their purchasing power, the company is promoting property purchases through accessible banking financing options, like home ownership loans (KPR).
“Given the declining purchasing power of some consumers, KPR serves as a great solution for meeting their property needs. The support from KPR financing, with competitive interest rates, has been a key driver for APLN's property sales this year,” Justini stated in an official release in Jakarta on Monday (September 2).
Justini also pointed out that the KPR purchasing scheme offers dual benefits for both consumers and the company. It provides an easy and affordable payment option for buyers while also helping the company speed up the development of property projects. This creates a ripple effect that positively impacts supporting sectors and other economic players.
With over fifty years of experience, APLN consistently earns consumer trust by delivering high-quality property projects that appreciate in value. This aligns with their concept of "living in style," which is a hallmark of every APLN product. Their modern, sophisticated, and elegant projects come with premium facilities, ensuring a remarkable living experience.
Along with offering high-quality products and residential landscapes that blend with nature, we prioritize consumer trust by delivering units as promised. We get that every buyer is eager to move into their new property, Justini added. Currently, APLN is involved in various property projects like Bukit Podomoro Jakarta, Podomoro Golf View, Podomoro Park Bandung, Parkland Podomoro Karawang, and Borneo Bay Residences in Balikpapan, close to the new capital city, IKN. These projects are specifically designed to meet the evolving needs and lifestyles of the community. Justini also mentioned that by the first half of 2024, APLN has achieved impressive results. The company reported a comprehensive profit of Rp 62.2 billion, a significant turnaround from a loss of Rp 53.2 billion in the first half of 2023. Sales and revenue for APLN as of June 2024 rose to Rp 1.89 trillion, up from Rp 1.87 trillion in the same period last year. "In addition to optimizing our business strategies, APLN is continuously enhancing operational efficiency across the board. This effort has successfully boosted the company's gross profit by 10% to Rp 729.8 billion in the first half of 2024. This reflects our commitment not only to strengthen sales growth but also to ensure sustainable profitability amid challenging economic conditions," Justini concluded.
