Samsung Galaxy A56 Comes With A Battery That Can Last Up To Two Days

Saturday, 22 Mar 2025

Samsung is back to innovating in the middle class by launching the Galaxy A56, one of its superior features is its long battery life. Based on a review from Sammobile, Monday (3/17), the device can last up to two days on a single charge.

"The battery life of the Galaxy A56 is extraordinary, promising more than two days on a single charge," Sammobile wrote in its review, quoted in Jakarta, Tuesday.

This advantage is the main attraction for users who have high mobility and need a device that can be relied on all day long.

Although the battery is an advantage, Sammobile notes that the charging speed of the Samsung Galaxy A56 can be a drawback, especially for users who need fast charging exceeding 45 watts.

The highest variant of the Galaxy A still features a premium design with a metal frame and a 6.7-inch Super Amoled screen (slightly larger than its predecessor), 120Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution, HDR10+ support, brightness up to 200 nits, and is coated with Gorilla Glass Victus+ screen protection.

The Galaxy A56 screen is claimed to be able to reach 1200 nits in high brightness mode, for example when exposed directly to sunlight outdoors.

According to the Sammobile review, the Galaxy A55 tends to set the brightness too low in indoor settings.

The screen texture is flat, like its predecessor. The screen frame (bezel) is still visible. This may reduce the visual appeal for some users.

Samsung made the Galaxy A56 0.8mm thinner and 15 grams lighter than the Galaxy A55 without sacrificing battery capacity. They also implemented a larger vapor chamber that keeps the phone cool during intense use.

The optical fingerprint reader is located under the display. For audio, the phone also has a stereo setup for its two speakers.

The rear camera lens protrusion on this phone is now visible, as Samsung has replaced the old A55 model's camera housing with one that looks similar to the new Galaxy S25 series.

It looks neat, but it should also offer better damage protection to the camera.

Also, there is no support for expandable storage options via a microSD card slot, meaning users will have to make do with the internal storage capacity available at the time of purchase.
