Regional Head Retreat Discourse Emerges Once A Year

President Prabowo Subianto apparently wants the regional head retreat to be held again in 2026. Prabowo's wish was conveyed directly by the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya.
Bima Arya revealed that President Prabowo appreciated the implementation of the regional head retreat this year. He revealed that Prabowo wanted this activity to be held again next year so that there would be no gossip.
"The President appreciates the implementation of this retreat. He even asked the Ministry of Home Affairs to hold this retreat again in 2026," said Bima Arya to the media at the Magelang Military Academy (Akmil), quoted by detikJateng, Friday (28/2).
Bima Arya said that the 2026 Retreat was held to evaluate the targets given by the President. These targets include food self-sufficiency and downstreaming.
"To evaluate the targets he gave. He said, so that we all don't just talk nonsense. To prove that the President is not just talking nonsense, regional heads are not talking nonsense, then we are targeting that the Regional Heads in 2026 will have another retreat," he said.
He said the proposed retreat was between 2026 or 2027. He said the evaluation must be based on numbers.

To prove that the President is not just talking nonsense, regional heads are not talking nonsense, then we are targeting that the Regional Heads in 2026 will have another retreat. To re-evaluate all the numbers, all the achievements, because he is targeting food self-sufficiency, downstreaming and many programs," added the former Mayor of Bogor.
"Whether it is achieved or not, what is the reason. So everything must be based on numbers. (The retreat is proposed) Between the end of 2026 or 2027," he said.
Bima Arya said that the 2026 retreat will be attended by all regional heads. It is possible that the 2026 retreat will be held again at Akmil Magelang.
"Yes, if the scale is like this, it is possible here (Akmil), because friends are already comfortable, with minimal costs. With facilities like this, yes friends are already comfortable, it's suitable," he concluded.
