Samsung Is Set To Launch The New 4 HP 5G In Indonesia

Monday, 17 Feb 2025

Samsung appears to be preparing to introduce four 5G smartphones simultaneously in Indonesia. This is indicated by the fact that four Samsung mobile devices have received certification for the Domestic Content Level (TKDN) from the Ministry of Industry. The models in question are Samsung SM-A566B, SM-A366B, SM-A266B, and SM-A066B. Upon investigation, these model numbers correspond to the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A26, and Galaxy A06, respectively. Among these devices, the model SM-A266B (Galaxy A26) has achieved the highest TKDN score of 40.3 percent, surpassing the required threshold of 35 percent. The other three models each hold a TKDN score of 39.6 percent.

There is no additional information available from the TKDN listing, other than the fact that all these phones support 5G connectivity.

Release in March 2025?

Devices with the same model numbers have also appeared on the TUV Rheinland certification website, a company specializing in inspection, testing, and certification. According to rumors, the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 are expected to be launched in mid-March 2025. Historically, Samsung tends to release new Galaxy A-series products in March. For instance, last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 in March 2024, while the Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A15 were released earlier in January 2024. As for the Galaxy A06, Samsung had already introduced the 4G version in September 2024, and it seems that the company is now set to bring the 5G version of the Galaxy A06 to the Indonesian market.
