The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi), in collaboration with the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB), is enhancing synergy to accelerate the digital transformation of government.
This initiative emphasizes policies that are oriented towards adaptive business processes, recognizing that digitalization must align with the evolving needs of public service.
According to a press release from the Ministry on Tuesday, Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid highlighted the importance of cross-ministerial collaboration to ensure that digital transformation policies focus not only on technological aspects but also on a comprehensive public service perspective. "We appreciate Kemenpan-RB's commitment to an efficient and effective digital transformation in government. Kemkomdigi reaffirms its full support to realize more integrated and impactful public services," stated Meutya.
Meanwhile, Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini emphasized that KemenPANRB is dedicated to accelerating digital transformation in government to enhance the quality of services to the public.
She noted that the success of digital transformation heavily relies on the full support of Kemkomdigi, particularly regarding infrastructure and system integration.
"Today, we seek support from the Minister of Kemkomdigi to accelerate digital transformation based on government business processes. This approach is crucial to ensure that every step of digitalization remains adaptive to the needs of public services," Rini remarked.
In the implementation of digital transformation policies, the role of Kemkomdigi is vital, as outlined in Presidential Regulation Number 95 of 2018 concerning the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE).
Kemkomdigi serves as the organizer of SPBE infrastructure and is responsible for the integration of the development and/or enhancement of SPBE applications.
