5 Statements By Prabowo During The Evaluation Of 100 Days Of Performance

President Prabowo Subianto convened a cabinet meeting to evaluate the first 100 days of his administration. During the session, he addressed topics ranging from free nutritious meals to budget efficiency.
The meeting took place at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. It was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, various coordinating ministers, other ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of agencies. Below are some of President Prabowo's directives:
1. President Prabowo Acknowledges Cabinet Cohesion
In his opening remarks, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation to the entire Red and White Cabinet for their performance during the initial three months of his administration. He noted that the government can take pride in the fact that their efforts are yielding targeted results. "On October 20, you were appointed, and the following day on the 21st, the deputy ministers were sworn in. Thus, we have officially been carrying out the mandate from the people for three months. Although I do not typically work with specific targets for hundreds of days or months, this milestone is significant," stated Prabowo.
He expressed pride in the achievements of his cabinet during the first three months, emphasizing the teamwork and unity within the group. "Therefore, I believe we can objectively take pride in the results we have achieved that align with our goals. I commend your efforts. I sense and assess that our cabinet operates as a cohesive team, demonstrating strong collaboration," he remarked.
Nevertheless, Prabowo acknowledged that continuous improvement is necessary, stating that such enhancements are a normal part of governance. He expressed confidence that all members of his administration share a common desire to deliver the best outcomes for the people.
2. Prabowo: While Other Nations Face War, We Maintain Harmony
President Prabowo expressed gratitude that Indonesia has been able to sustain a conducive atmosphere domestically, despite the numerous conflicts occurring globally.
"This time, we have succeeded in maintaining a stable, tranquil, and harmonious environment, even as many parts of the world are engulfed in conflict, tension, crises, and war. We have managed to preserve peace and serenity within our nation," stated Prabowo.
3. Directing Action Against Non-Compliant Companies
President Prabowo Subianto has urged law enforcement agencies to take action against companies that violate regulations, particularly those concerning land and forestry laws.
"I have also instructed law enforcement officials, including the Attorney General, the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the Chief of Police, and the Commander of the National Armed Forces, to enforce the law and regulations, especially against companies that breach land and forestry provisions," Prabowo remarked.
4. Call for Budgetary Discipline
In his introductory speech at the cabinet meeting, Prabowo addressed the issue of budgeting. He has reviewed the budgets of each ministry and agency, emphasizing that there should be no allocation for ceremonial events or official trips
Prabowo stated that the budget should primarily support food and energy self-sufficiency programs, as well as technological innovations. He intends to eliminate funding for any expenditures outside of these priorities.
"I reiterate that expenditures unrelated to these objectives, such as ceremonial events, anniversaries, and similar occasions, will not be budgeted," Prabowo asserted.
5. Aim for Nutritional Meals for All Children by the End of 2025
Another topic discussed by Prabowo was the initiative for free nutritious meals. He set a target for all Indonesian children to receive nutritious food by the end of 2025."Our nutritious meal program is underway; thank goodness we launched it on January 6. To date, we have successfully served 650,000 children across 31 provinces," Prabowo noted.
