National Nutrition Day 2025: Ninja Cold And Amazing Farm Promote Healthy Lifestyles In Indonesia

Friday, 24 Jan 2025

Jewon Pte. Ltd's report indicates a 7.9 percent increase in the consumption of healthy food among the Indonesian population in 2024. Similarly, data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reveals that the consumption of vegetables and fruits in Indonesia reached 98.44 percent and 91.02 percent, respectively, in the same year.

This trend reflects a growing awareness among Indonesians regarding healthy lifestyles through the consumption of nutritious foods. A significant contributor to this increase is Amazing Farm, which specializes in hydroponic vegetable production.

Established in 1998, Amazing Farm has become the first company in Indonesia to commercially utilize greenhouses for vegetable cultivation using aeroponic technology.

"Our managed land spans approximately 20 hectares, and in collaboration with farmers, we cover an additional 20 hectares, totaling around 40 hectares across Indonesia," stated Deddy, the General Manager of Production at Amazing Farm.

To ensure that their vegetable production, which reaches up to 4 tons daily, is delivered fresh and on time, Amazing Farm employs the Ninja Cold delivery service from Ninja Xpress. Deddy acknowledged that this service addresses previous logistical challenges they faced, such as high transportation costs, difficulties in reaching remote areas, and particularly maintaining product quality during transit.

"The cold chamber technology is extremely beneficial! With this, we can transport a variety of vegetables at three to four different temperatures in a single shipment," he added.

According to Alvian Chris Pradana, Head of Growth at Ninja Xpress, the advantages of the Ninja Cold service include a large fleet and a nationwide network that facilitates deliveries, ultimately reducing costs for customers.
