Telkomsel Leads Micro Drama In Indonesia Through Collaboration With FlexTV

Telkomsel has launched the Premium FlexTV Bundling Package, becoming the first telecommunications company in Indonesia to offer a bundle that includes Micro Drama in vertical video format. This innovative package aims to provide a new way to enjoy high-quality short dramas at a more affordable price. It is introduced in partnership with FlexTV, a platform for short videos and Micro Drama production.

Micro Drama, the main format of FlexTV, is rapidly growing in the global market. In China, this industry saw a 268% increase in 2023, reaching a market value of 37.39 billion yuan (about 5.3 billion USD). Projections suggest that this figure will exceed 100 billion yuan by 2027. This success highlights the rising consumer preference for short content with strong narratives that are easily accessible in busy daily lives. As a pioneer in Indonesia, Telkomsel is seizing this opportunity to offer relevant and affordable entertainment experiences.

With the Premium FlexTV Bundling Package priced at Rp77,700, customers will receive a 30-day subscription to FlexTV along with a special data quota of 6 GB.

The Premium FlexTV Bundling Package allows customers to enjoy a variety of Micro Drama genres, including romantic dramas, intriguing mysteries, and captivating fantasy stories. Popular titles available on FlexTV include Love by Confinement, The Bride of The Wolf King, Mr. Williams! Madame is Dying, and The Security Guard is a Trillionaire. Customers can easily purchase the Premium FlexTV Bundling Package through the MyTelkomsel app, UMB *363#, credit counters, nearby retail stores, or e-commerce platforms.

After making a purchase, customers will receive a link to log in to FlexTV via SMS. Telkomsel advises customers to be cautious of potential scams. Avoid sharing OTP codes or personal information, and be wary of suspicious links claiming to be from Telkomsel.

In addition to the Premium Bundling Package, customers can buy Coins at a lower price to enjoy selected content on FlexTV. Starting at Rp22,200 for 500 Coins, each purchase comes with a special data quota of 3 GB. Coins can be purchased repeatedly through MyTelkomsel, offering greater flexibility for customers.
