Mandra, the comedian, now appears slimmer compared to several years ago. It is said that his weight loss is a result of adopting a healthier lifestyle. However, Mandra claims that he has not been on a diet; thus, what is his secret?
He recognizes the importance of maintaining health, especially after experiencing excess weight in his youth, during which his cheeks and abdomen appeared quite full.
"This means we need to be more cautious about our health because, to be honest, I used to be quite large and overweight. For me, it was uncomfortable. I believe that now, I feel better and it is simpler," Mandra stated during a recent meeting in Tendean, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta.
Mandra admits that he has not followed a diet. Instead, he has adopted the lifestyle of a horse racing jockey, who typically has a slender physique.
"The process has taken quite some time, to be honest. But regarding dieting, I do not engage in that. I focus more on the exercise related to horse racing. According to what I have learned, you never see a fat jockey; they are generally small and more streamlined. That is what I follow," he explained.
As he ages, Mandra feels it is essential to remain focused on his health and to regularly consult with a doctor. "That is certainly important. Clearly, dietary habits have an impact," he revealed.
Despite feeling healthy, Mandra noted that many people are surprised by his physical transformation, often assuming he is unwell.
"Many people ask, 'Are you healthy? Are you healthy?' They are shocked. Yes, I am healthy," Mandra said with a smile.
