Telkomsel Supports Disabled Artists Through Connecting Smiles For A Bright Generation

Telkomsel is enhancing its commitment to inclusivity and creativity by hosting a voting event for illustration and graphic art created by disabled friends from the Tab Space community. This event is part of the "Connecting Smiles for a Brilliant Generation" program and also celebrates International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2024.

Telkomsel and IndiHome customers can participate in the voting through the MyTelkomsel app. The design that receives the most votes will be featured on school bags, which will be donated to students across Indonesia. This program demonstrates our commitment to sustainable ESG principles.

Through this initiative, Telkomsel aims to empower neurodivergent participants to express their artistic talents. Telkomsel believes that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to contribute and inspire.

Each artwork will reflect the hopes and support of disabled friends for students in Indonesia, encouraging them to pursue a brighter future. The five selected illustrations/graphics from the Tab Space community are:

3. School Days by Hikari Pride

4. Reading Together at School by Miskha Fathina

5. School Bus for Happy Monsters by Atallah Rakha M

Saki H. Bramono, Vice President of Corporate Communications & Social Responsibility at Telkomsel, stated, "We believe that art is a universal language that can bridge differences and unite everyone."

Through the Connect Smiles for a Bright Generation program, we are dedicated to supporting the creativity of friends with disabilities and advancing education in Indonesia. This will be achieved by allowing customers to exchange their Telkomsel Points for donations of school bags for students in Indonesia.

In this initial phase, we invite Telkomsel customers to actively participate by appreciating the works of friends with disabilities through voting on the MyTelkomsel app.

The Connect Smiles for a Bright Generation program is part of Telkomsel's philanthropic CSR initiative, Connect Smiles, aimed at spreading kindness, sharing hope, and creating a positive impact that empowers communities.

In this program, every child deserves proper learning facilities, and every act of care can lead to meaningful change. Telkomsel remains committed to connecting the learning spirit of students as they pursue their dreams.

To appreciate the inspiring works of disabled artists, Telkomsel customers can vote via the link tsel.id/semangatberkarya on their phones or through the MyTelkomsel app until December 6, 2024, by following these steps:

1. Download or open the MyTelkomsel app.

2. Scroll down to find "Promo Corner."

3. Select the "Connect Spirit for a Bright Generation" program.

4. Vote by choosing one of the artworks.

Telkomsel customers who vote through the MyTelkomsel app have a chance to win prizes, including the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G Bundling Device, the Samsung Galaxy A24 Bundling Device, and a total of Rp1,000,000 in LinkAja balance, which will be announced by December 31, 2024, on Telkomsel's official Instagram account (@telkomselnow).
