Thursday, 21 Nov 2024

PT Jakarta Infrastruktur Propertindo (JIP) and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, through the Jakarta Asset Management Centre (UP JAMC) BPAD, have formed a strategic partnership to utilize regional assets by leasing part of certain buildings. The agreement was signed by PT JIP's President Director, Deni Rifky Purwana, and the Head of UP JAMC BPAD DKI Jakarta, Ifan Mohammad Firmansyah, at the Abdul Muis Technical Office Building in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

This collaboration aims to enhance the assets of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government by providing stronger and more efficient telecommunications infrastructure. PT JIP plans to install Micro Cell Poles (MCP) or telecommunications towers at various educational assets, including office buildings and primary, junior high, and senior high schools across Jakarta.

The Micro Cell Pole has already been implemented at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office located at Jalan Gatot Subroto No. 40-41, Kuningan Timur, Setiabudi, South Jakarta. This telecommunications tower is expected to improve network capacity in areas with high mobile user density, especially in locations that have experienced 'blank spots.'

Aji Rizqi Yodhana, General Manager of Corporate Secretary at PT JIP, stated that the installation of MCP will not only increase network capacity but also support seamless connectivity, in line with the demands of 4G LTE technology that requires substantial and uninterrupted data capacity. "Through this collaboration, we are committed to providing a more reliable network, benefiting the advancement of education and the community in Jakarta," Aji said.

This collaboration also supports Jakarta's vision as a modern, connected global city and addresses the growing urban network needs. "This innovative step reflects our spirit and the DKI Jakarta Education Office's commitment to promoting digital transformation and connectivity in education, as well as supporting Jakarta's digital progress in the future," Aji added.

Ifan Mohammad Firmansyah, Head of UP JAMC BPAD DKI Jakarta, stated that this partnership is a way for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to support technological development and realize Jakarta's global city vision. "We hope that optimizing BMD for Micro Cell telecommunication towers will enhance network capacity in Jakarta," he said.
