AEON, a Japanese retail company, has announced the opening of its newest store in Pakuwon Mall Bekasi, located on the lower ground floor. This marks AEON's 9th supermarket and the 12th store overall, including Health & Beauty sections.
The presence of AEON is familiar to Bekasi residents, as there is already an AEON Mall Jakarta Garden City in Cakung, East Jakarta. However, the AEON store in Pakuwon Mall Bekasi features a different concept tailored to local customer preferences.
The store offers a supermarket, delicatessen, and bakery, along with a Reward Kitchen concept that serves fresh and healthy meals, including salads and pasta.
Takahiro Osugi, President Director of PT AEON Indonesia, stated that the new AEON store in Pakuwon Mall Bekasi aims to tap into the significant market potential in the Bekasi area and meet the high demand for products that align with the preferences of local customers and AEON members.
"We recognize the strong enthusiasm of our customers in Bekasi. Given the diverse profile of Bekasi residents and their love for culinary experiences, combined with the strategic location of Pakuwon Mall Bekasi, we believe AEON can provide an exciting shopping and dining experience for families."
Eiffel Tedja, Director of Pakuwon Group, added that Pakuwon Mall Bekasi emphasizes the importance of collaboration in every step. As a successful player in the shopping center sector, Pakuwon Mall Bekasi believes that successful businesses must align with partnerships, such as the synergy between Pakuwon Mall Bekasi and AEON Indonesia.
"The collaboration between Pakuwon Mall Bekasi and AEON is a strategic move to offer a more complete and diverse shopping experience for the people of Bekasi. This collaboration aims to be more than just a shopping option for visitors; it also seeks to boost the local economy and strengthen Pakuwon Mall Bekasi's position as a leading shopping center in the city, as stated.
During the opening period from November 15 to 21, 2024, AEON Store will offer various shopping benefits and limited-time offers for customers who register as AEON Members on the AEON Point app. Customers spending a minimum of Rp300,000 can exchange their shopping receipt for an eco bag. Shoppers can enjoy numerous Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotions on grocery and non-food items during this period. Featured products include TopValu Tasmania Beef from AEON's farms in Tasmania, Australia, TopValu Salmon Aurora, and Durian Musang at the best promotional prices.
