Cinepolis Cinemas is supporting the growth of Indonesian cinema and social responsibility through the Let’s Go to Cinepolis program. This initiative invites over 11,500 children from diverse backgrounds to watch Indonesian films for free at 56 Cinepolis theaters across the country.
With this CSR program, Cinepolis Cinemas aims to give children the chance to enjoy local films that can broaden their understanding of the creative industry. It also reflects Cinepolis Cinemas' commitment to providing enjoyable and educational cinematic experiences for Indonesia's youth.
"Film is a powerful medium to convey messages and positive values to young people. We hope this activity can inspire and contribute to the cultural and educational development of the next generation," said Alejandro Aguilera, CEO of Cinepolis Cinemas Indonesia, in a statement to Kontan.co.id on Wednesday (November 13).
The program takes place in various cities in Indonesia, covering 56 Cinepolis locations. This time, viewers are enjoying the film Pulang Tak Harus Rumah, which was chosen for its strong educational message and relevant family themes that resonate with everyday life in Indonesia, teaching important family values.
